Should college be at no expense?

I think that college should be free, or any sort of higher education for that matter, but there should be limitations on who that college allows. If college were to be free to anyone, there would be a major spike in the number of college students that would attend.

The opportunity for all high school students to be able to go to college would be an immense one, but there still should be certain standards to the college that are set. For example, if the student is attending a certain college, he or she should have maintained a certain GPA and depending on their transcript, determines whether or not they are able to attend the college. I think it would be a great idea for college to be free, for more students may try harder in school and be optimistic to the idea of going to college, rather than dreading the thought of money and knowing they can’t afford the school itself.

Most interesting person I've met

I've been a volunteer for the Animal Rescue League for about 4 years now on and off and I have been given many opportunities throughout it. About 2 years ago I was asked to volunteer for a very known person by animal people on television . When I found out who it was I was extremely excited about it.

Turns out the person who I was going to be helping was Cesar Millan. He came to El Paso to do a presentation sort of thing that people who paid to go see him, would have a portion of that money go ARL. I was very happy to be a part of it. When I first met him, I realized he was a short but handsome man. He was very polite and had a smile that was very friendly. Throughout his presentation he talked about how to walk a dog and to take care of it like he does on the show. After the presentation I was able to meet him face to face and he had a very nice personality which seen on television on his show, The Dog Whisperer. I even took a picture with him and you can find that picture on the El Paso ARL website. He's one of the interesting people I have met, and I appreciated that he even adopted one of the dogs we had at the kennel and took it back home with him.

The Scariest thing that ever happened to me

I was home alone one time, around the same time of year during this month. It was a chilly night and you could hear the branches of the trees rubbing against the windows of my home. My mom was dropping my dad off at the airport. I was watching a movie to keep my mind off of the noises I could hear outside.

Eating ice cream on the couch I heard a loud "bang!" and i dropped my bowl and stood up. My dog started to bark obnoxiously at the back two doors of the house. I was frightened and tried to call my mom. Turns out, that loud bang was an electric wire that had been cut from the strong winds outside. Thus, I had no power to the phone. I was extremely scared and then I heard noises in the garage. My dog and I, me following behind him, went towards the noise when we heard it getting louder. It sounded like scrambling and scratching on the door. When I opened the door my cat ran right between my feet. I had forgotten I had a cat at the time since I was completely paranoid from all the creepy noises outside. Pretty much the scariest thing that has happened to me.
